SAY NO TO ANY JOB YOU WON'T BE COMMITTED TO.

Hello friends, welcome back and just say goodbye to January 2024. I'm very happy to see that come through. Guys this January was hot on my own side. I have been moving up and down since the beginning of January and thank God that today by 12 am it will be a goodbye to January. WOW! I love the sound of that.

Commitment is one thing that we can't run away from as human beings. If we refuse to be committed then the job will be left undone. Life must keep moving as we engage in our different commitment, because we have alot going on around us and in one way or the other we must participate to make things work normal. We can't just fold our arms and keep looking at some people doing the work alone. We need to give our own help, this is something leading us to be committed in a particular thing even when we did not plan for it.

Having said that, I also believe that even though we need to be committed we some times shy away from responsibility because of one reason or the other. I literally ran away from one serious commitment so that I can focus on my studies, but did I succeed? You know people have a way of thinking that you are running away from work just because you don't want to do it. One may have a good reason for doing that.

In the last four years I have been given a responsibility which I refuse at the beginning, everyone did not see reasons with me. I was forced to accept the responsibility in church. Quit okay I told them that I am in school and will not be having the chance to come over for some of the church activities. I thought that my people understood me ohh!

It was election time and I was not going to be available for the election. When I was leaving I called one of the leaders to explain to him that I have been very busy lately and will not be available to handle any responsibility in church until I finish my studies. But I was surprised that a very sensitive post was kept for me and I was called to be told. I tried all I could to say no but they all insisted that it is God's work. I kept quiet ohh! But last last I was not able to do the work because I have always been to school or doing house chores when I come back from school. I have to still go back to them and told them to look for someone else to do that work but they refuse, so I just left the work like that.

For me is not just accepting a responsibility but we must be ready to do what is needful.
