My desire is to help widows and orphans.

Hello friends, do make yourselves comfortable with me here. I am happy to be back again for this week prompt. I want to thank in a special way @emilyra333 our guest judge. Special thanks also goes to @thekittygirl for celebrating me on my birthday.

What is your big dream for your Life? If money were no object and you could do with your time whatever you wishes.

This is a very big question for me because I have to think very well before venturing into it. As a lady, I have nursed an idea since when my mum was alive. The way I saw her back then hustling to raise us all by herself made me want to raise an NGO that will help me help widows and orphans. But I didn't not kick start until when my mum past away some years back.

Her passing away made that decision come so strong that I wish that I could have enough money to start it. Though I took the bull by its Horn last year by starting something very small for the widows. I know it was not exactly what I have in mind, but I said to myself that room was not build in a day. I can actually start from somewhere believing God for His provision to move it further. Seven widows were randomly pick up and we had a get together on the 22nd of December, 2022. I was shocked at the result. I remember a particular widow who nailed down and kept thanking me for the little support she got at the meeting. I was so surprised. After that meeting, I made up my mind that I was going to be calling them once in a while to know how they are doing and know how I can be of help to them. When we got to this year, I had it in mind to gather them by February, but things turned around and I could not get to them again.

Since then I have been procrastinating this meeting but it couldn't hold because I did not get the money I was expecting. This is actually my big dream. I wish I could lay hands on all the money that I need so as to help widows and if possible give scholarships to some of their children.

This is not actually fiction, is real about me and that is what I wish I had the time and money to do. Though I give thanks to the @ladiesofhive for prompting me to pen it down.
