My Actifit Report Card: April 18 2024

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday wasn't rainy, but also not very colorful, lots of grey. Probably why I started with colorful flowers for my cover pic.

Once again, Kaia had plenty of energy to burn, that's clearly something the weather doesn't affect.

So after some time behind the front yard, we quickly went to the forest. Once again, some of the locals were waiting for us near the forest entrance.

Lots of areas in the forest are still flooded. We have to walk around these big puddles. Well at least I have. Like I said, Kaia prefers a straight line, it's shorter!

And then a squirrel shows up, triggering Kaia's next moves. Of course she follows it, and when it climbs in a tree, she goes back in the water, still looking for it. Silly girl...

Then she looks back at me: "You know what's coming next, right?"

Of course I do, she runs the entire length of the puddle at full speed, having a blast!

While walking further inside the forest, it was very nice seeing more blue in the sky.

It didn't last long unfortunately, it was back to grey shortly.

At least we have a bit of green on the trees now.

Talking about trees, you might remember our tree friend which kept its leaves for so long. Well, they're finally gone!

Good news is that it's to prepare for the new ones very soon.

We finished our walk much earlier than usual, because I was going for dinner with some friends that were visiting from the West coast where they live now. But the walking wasn't over. After dinner, the night was really nice and we walked into the small downtown. Great to add a few steps to my day, and to digest of course.
