Reflecting on the mass indoctrination day 3

avatar

A thought provoking topic was dropped today in the day 3 of mass indoctrination session today.

Unfortunately, this is something we do often and we may not mind to. We do it very casually most of the times and we don't know how bad it is.

I am glad to be part of the session today to have gotten insight of how to approach things like this, all thanks to God for using Brother Eli Soriano to teach us this thing today.

Prayer is basically a communication between we and God who is our creator and guide. However, there are ways in which we should pray and things we should not do while praying.

Ideally, we should always kneel down while praying. The best way to pray is to kneel down. It is very much important to pray before we do anything in life. When we want to eat, go out, sleep, wake up e.t.c, we should always pray and commit everything to the hands of God. We should also forgive those who have wronged us before going to God in prayers.

Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

There are certain times in which the situation can not permit us to kneel down and pray. For example when in a plane, we can not kneel down. The physical challenged may not be able to also kneel down. Based on this, we should sit down or stand up and pray.

Matthew 15:34 And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes. 15:35 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. 15:36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

While communicating with God in prayers, we should keep our words simple and not repeat words, neither should we use vain words. God already knows what we want to say, so we should make sure that we hit the nail.

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

When a woman is praying, she should cover her head. When a man is also praying, he should not cover his head.

It is disrespectful to God for a man to cover his head when he wants to pray. If a woman does no cover her head while praying, it means that she is disrespecting God and dishonoring herself. Prayer is more powerful while doing the well of God.

Every body has a head. The head of a woman is the man while the head of the man is Christ and the head of Christ is God. The head of the woman is represented by the man while the head of the man is represented by Christ. This is how the hierarchy goes.

In the true church, a woman should always cover her head because the woman is inferior to the man, and by covering her head, she respects the man because the woman is created but for the glory of God but for the glory of the man. The man on the other hand is created for the glory of God and as such should not cover his head while praying. The man is not created for the woman, but the woman is created for the man.

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 11:4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. 11:8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. 11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. 11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. 11:11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. 11:12 For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

These words from the scriptures have actually opened my eyes to many things about prayer.
These are the few things I was able to learn today.

Thank you and God bless you.
