MY UNFORGETTABLE VACATION EXPERIENCE

Hi great people,
I'm excited to be with you in this week's engagement which I would be sharing what I tilted my unforgettable vacation experience. As it's not normally said, experience is the best teacher. I think this statement is true based on what I have been through.

When I saw this topic, I had to start brainstorming to see how I can assimilate it and do appropriately write something. In the course of my investigation, I realised that there is what is called staycation which is like a subset of vacation but in the nutshell they tilt towards the same thing.
Vacation is normally a time where one takes a break off from the work or a busy schedule to chill and get refreshed in order to activate more capacity. This can be done anywhere pending on an individual's choice.

I intend to share with you one my outstanding vacation in life that kept me thinking and wishing till now. I never knew that such indelible experience could cause transformation in my life till date. Vacation times are seasons where one enjoys good and quality moment with friends, family and individuals. Great memories are created at the end.

After my semester exams for Nigeria certificate of Education popularly known as NCE, I decided to pay visit to my immediate brother in Benin state. This was an excursion moment for me simply because I have never in my life dreamt of crossing to such state of the nation. We spent hours before we finally got to the state. It was his friend that took me their because I didn't know the road. I spent few days with the friend before we finally proceeded to where my elder brother is.

Immediately, I got there the atmosphere changed and I could just see grasses around. I was like what part of the world is this?
Later I landed at the house. I spent a month plus during that break which resulted to my life transformation.

The first thing I did during this vacation is to learn a skill and I chose bakery. My boss was a guy that hail from the north though we had same faith. I spent one month leaning how to bake, prepare chips etc. This was like a great vacation for me because a skill has been impacted.

Vacation is not all about learning skills alot but time to relax and have some fun. As my vacation duration was winding up, a daughter to my elder booked an appointment with me. I was like what's this again? How would someone (a lady) take me out? Hmmm don't mind the bush boy like me. I never knew what outing entails besides I just heard it for the first time.

On the day of the outing, it was a beautiful Sunday evening. As per village boy I cooked and ate my Jellof Rice before stepping out. When I met the lady, she welcome me and ask which of the eateries can we go to? I pointed one. Immediately we got there she asked me to order for what I would eat I told her I have eaten before coming ooooo. She said what? Don't you know that I said I am taking out today? I was speechless then I ordered for a fruit juice so that I can sip as we gist together. Down within my heart I was like what is this nah?
After she's done eating, she said let's go to the field and catch some fun.

As we were going, we stopped at a popcorn joint and bought some so that we can be eating while gisting. We were able to move round almost the whole school that evening suddenly we had to summarise because of darkness.
When I returned home, I shared with my elder brother and started laughing hmmmm Kai... welcome to city life. After few days I left because I needed to resume my school.

LESSONS.

• it was a remarkable experience for because that was my first time going for outing.
• my local mentality was transformed.
• I met different kinds of friends which made build a stronger network.
• I was able to break though the walls of low self esteem and fear.

CONCLUSION

My vacation experience was like a turnaround experience for me because I learnt and unlearned things that made me better than where i used to be. I hope you enjoy few lines of vacation experience. Thanks.
