Hello world and fellow crypto gamers

Today we are going to take a sneak peek at the new core cards that were released today and will take a closer look at specific combos that maybe are going to be in the meta! I would like to discuss it with you a little bit more and exchange our view on how this patch would affect the current situation in the ladder! Also, I'm going to inform you about the weekend event results and the reason I waited for the latest changes in the core set before I continued to buy new cards!

God of War - Vikings

I'm really excited about the upcoming Viking War deck that is going to come and I am very excited to see if it's going to be playable on the ladder! Also, Also, the combo with the relics is very interesting, and to be honest, the idea behind this deck is very similar with Aggro Pirate Warrion from Hearthstone! You can see some of the cards that seem have much potential below and I am waiting for your opinion in the comments!

God of Nature - Amazon

Another very promising combo that I think it's going to form is the Amazon combo and maybe with some wild creatures! To be honest I don't really believe that is going to be so much OP for the Nature deck but maybe it would be a nice mechanic for the low curve! There are some decent choices for the early game
  • Special mention for the Lighting Strike which is the most controversial card because there is a long discussion in Reddit if it's balanced or not. My opinion is that the card was better before the update and the reason is that you could easily counter it if you played low-cost minions. After the update, they nerfed the damage from 8 to 6 and remove the burn but now the 6 damage is going to target the strongest enemy creature! So for me is clearly a good addition because my RNG is bad but I want to hear your opinion in the comments!

Weekend Event Report

So at the last post, I said that I would like to construct a new deck to raise up my score and I didn't do it because I learned later that week that changes were coming so it wasn't so wise to rush up to spend my money on something that maybe it would be nerfed! Now the changes are live and I must observe what deck is the best to prepare for the next weekend we will try to boost up these numbers! The deck I used for the past weekend was of the same nature with some minor changes! If you got any ideas about what deck should I consider contract please leave a comment with your suggestion!

I agree with your take on Lighting strike , but the other gods also had some very nice changes and additions. I guess we'll see how the meta plays out.
