15 November LEO Power Up Day (LPUD)!

My fifth month participating in #LPUD.

One great thing about this kind of community activity is that a lion has this opportunity to monitor his progress through the months. The regularity of the practice will test your patience and consistency. It reminds you of the importance of gradual growth; taking it slow; hitting your goal one “hill” at a time until you reach your “mountain.”

I powered up 150 LEO a few minutes ago. You still have twenty-one hours before this LPUD will end (time of writing).

I could not imagine the growth story of my 403 LEO because of this #LPUD initiative. If such a 14.24% monthly and 198.51% cumulative growth in the midst of crashing crypto projects and extended crypto winter cannot be called extraordinary, I don’t know how to appropriately describe such an increase. I don’t know what’s going on in other layers two projects outside Hive, but in my eyes, our blockchain is indeed blessed to have a very rare solid project like LeoFinance.

Tracking my #LPUD growth since the first month I joined the program, it is best to be reminded of important milestones that happened during the first four months.

On July 15 LEO Power Up Day (LPUD), I mentioned that it is commendable on the part of LeoFinance to imitate HIVE Power Up Day (HPUD) for all “the lions and cubs to have such awareness to grow our LEO power at least on monthly basis.”

The following month, I shared in Thanks to LPUD for $1,633.47! how I enjoyed that three weeks Orca delegation. The USD value of my account jumped to $1,633.47 as a result of that 20,000 LEO delegation. Consequently, my vote value too increased from 0.028 to 0.997, a remarkable growth of 3,460.71%!

Due to such an increase in voting power, I did not struggle to collect enough LEO for #LPUD. Instead of distributing 210 and receiving 105 LEO, what happened exceeded my expectation. I was able to distribute 332 and received 166 LEO instead.

So excited about the kind of transformation I had! I never thought that the 0.0011 curation reward from a Plankton will be changed between 0.288 and 0.32.

In September, that was the first time I sold 126 LEO for my Hive Engine trading activity. During that month I accumulated 312 LEO. It was also in the same month that I shared in Achieving Orca Power for Real!, that I made it my goal to achieve the Orca status. I know it will take years for me to accomplish that.

Last month, in Finally, I reached the 1,000 Mark!, I initiated the idea of tracking my progress. Since then, I have been making this table noting my LEO growth both in terms of monthly and cumulative increase.

So far, that’s the overview of my five-month journey in #LPUD engagement. The next hill to climb is to reach that 2,000 LEO power. Still sticking to my long-term goal of achieving that Orca status with 20,000 LEO power!
