(Edited)

How do transaction fees work on WAX? This can be a bit confusing, which is why I decided to create this WAX Blockchain Tutorial and teach you about RAM, CPU and NET.

I also discuss how to stake WAX tokens, how to unstake WAX, and how to claim staking rewards.

You can buy RAM by going to wax.bloks.io, logging in with your WAX wallet, and going to the “Wallet” tab. From there, you would select “Buy/Sell RAM” from the list on the left, enter the amount of RAM you would like to buy, and make sure you enter your own wallet as the “receiver”, unless you are buying the RAM for someone else.

CPU is the most commonly required resource for most transactions that you will be performing. This includes things like staking NFTs, claiming NFTs from a drop (even if the NFT is free), and creating/minting NFTs as well.

Thanks for making this video. Very clear and helpful instruction. Been looking for this kind of content. Re-blogging it.

Just wondering how to become an NFT creator? Any concise and easy to understand guide?

Man, these bloody EOS.IO blockchains...

After having an absolute NIGHTMARE trying to sell the EOS I had stuck in a wallet, I am scarred for life.

I just couldn't work out what desktop wallet I needed, let alone what I needed to stake and where in order to simply move them to an exchange to sell!

Hopefully this video will save some fellow n00bs from pulling their hair out like me.

Yeah they can definitely be a pain in the ass.

WAX Cloud Wallet is pretty simple and really helps onboard noobs, but it's not decentralized at all.

If you want your own WAX wallet on a ledger or something, it starts getting complicated quick.

Guess I know what I'm doing for one of my next videos...

My pleasure, I totally agree. WAX is highly underrated.

It's really surprising to see it get no love while all these NFT projects on ETH and other chains are raising millions of dollars.
