Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012) was fairly charming

I like Steve Carell and want to watch some more of his movies so I gave this movie a shot. I did not realize it was a complete romantic comedy, I knew it sort of was, but yeah turns out it kind of completely was.

I have to say, these types of movies are not typically my cup of tea whatsoever. Harry Potter is a more realistic movie than these romantic comedies. They truly are all the same.

I guess Seeking a Friend was a bit different. It had the whole the world is going to end feel which was different. Pretty cool for sure.

There was a handful of funny parts throughout. A bit edgier than I anticipated which was a pleasant surprise.

I simply can't take these movies serious for the most part. The acting was good, but when the plot and story are so far fetched it's kind of like who cares?

Love is not ever like it is in these movies. Even if the main characters loved each other it's like, did they though??

The world was ending, both of these characters have had many many encounters with love and have loved before. I mean come on.....

The ending was nice, that didn't pull any punches and that was well done.

I give Seeking a Friend for the End of the World a 6/10.
