Ох, друзі, ранок розпочався жахливо: підарашисти знову б'ють ракетами по всій території України. Але я вже підготувала для вас статтю про мого колегу Сергія, захисника, тож не можу її не викласти. Не дивлячись ні на що, разом здолаємо кацапську нацистську нечисть!

"Від графічного дизайнера до вояка" — так можна назвати історію Сергія.

Напередодні війни Сергій поїхав до батьків у Кривий Ріг: вони захворіли на ковід. На 23 лютого мамі вже покращало, а батько все ще лежав під киснем. Ракетний удар по місту на світанку 24.02 змусивши Сергія залишити батьків на лікарів і мчати до Києва.

«Приїхав додому в Київську область, одразу зателефонував до військкомату. Там кіпіш, — розповідає тогочасні реалії Сергій. — Сказали, нічого не ясно, якщо є бажання — приходь, чекай. Я тоді пройшовся трьома тероборонами прилеглих містечок, і в Ірпінській був у тому числі. Відповідь одна: у нас все укомплектовано, на більше людей зброї немає».

В результаті Сергій пішов до тероборони села під Києвом за місцем реєстрації. Зброю через певну годину видали, і хлопці приступили до активного укріплення позицій на місці. А Сергій став командиром відділення, адже чи не єдиний мав військовий досвід за спиною: «Служив 1993 року у ВДВ — зводі сил швидкого реагування. То був перший в Україні десант. Мене тоді навіть у голландській газеті надрукували», — згадує з усмішкою захисник.

Сергій каже, що добровольців у теробороні було дуже багато, але мало хто мав достатньо навиків: «Я навчав хлопців. Майже півтора місяці ми, грубо кажучи, копали бліндажі і ганяли лісами ДРГ, мародерів, кадирівців — разом із силами спецпризначення. Ліс великий там, але я його добре знаю. Сам на кулеметі, ще три автоматники — на вісімці з відірваним дзеркалом літали. Весь цей час спали одягненими та взутими в медпункті, щоб будь-якої миті бути готовими на виїзд».

На початку квітня російські окупанти відступили, і для тероборони почалося відносне затишшя. «Я давай знову у військкомати дзвонити – чекайте, чекайте, скрізь чекайте. Довелося смикнути знайомого майора-АТОшника: допомагай, друже, сидіти на місці не можу. Не буде мені місця у ЗСУ, піду проситись у Правий сектор». Давній знайомий допоміг: за п'ять днів Сергій уже був на місці – у військах на передовій.

А ще у цій історії є романтична лінія. Вдома на Сергія чекає наречена. Саме вона подарувала своєму (і нашому!) захиснику бронежилет. Хочеться сказати: влучний подарунок! Але краще хай у Сергія і його броник нічого і ніколи не влучає.

Під час розмови я щиро зізналася, що мрію вже зустрітися із Сергієм в офісі компанії, щоб послухати про війну наживо. А він жартує, що це буде дуже-дуже скоро, бо, судячи з дизайну банерів інтернет-магазину, на заміну нікого тямущого не знайшли, тож треба кінчати ворога і повертатися до роботи:)

На прохання розповісти щось дуже позитивне, Сергій розказав таке: «Тут у моїй команді немає жодної людини примусово – усі добровольці, віком від 20-ти до 52-х років. В усіх очі горять, усі готові захищати Україну до останнього, до кінця. І це не просто слова. Їм глобально не важлива ні зарплата, ні соцзабезпечення – лише перемога над рашистами».

Oh, friends, the morning has started terribly: fucking russians are again firing rockets all over the territory of Ukraine. But I have already prepared an article for you about my colleague Serhiy, a defender, so I will post it. No matter what, let's overcome the russo-nazi evil together!

"From a graphic designer to a soldier" — that's how Serhiy's story can be called.

On the eve of the war, Serhiy went to visit his parents in Kryvyi Rih: they got sick with covid. On February 23, the mother was getting better, and the father was still on oxygen. A rocket hit the city at dawn on February 24, forcing Serhiy to leave his parents at the doctors and rush to Kyiv.

"I came home to the Kyiv region, immediately called the Military Commissariat. It was a mess there, — Serhiy tells the realities of that time. – They said, nothing is clear, if there is a desire, come, and wait. At that time, I walked through three territorial defenses of nearby towns, and Irpin territorial defense was one of them. There was only one answer: we have everything equipped, there are no weapons for more people."

As a result, Serhiy went to the territorial defense of the village near Kyiv at the place of registration. After a certain hour, the weapons were issued, and the boys began to actively strengthen their positions on the spot. And Serhiy became the commander of the unit, because he was almost the only one with military experience behind him: "In 1993, he served in the Airborne Forces – a rapid reaction force. It was the first amphibious assault in Ukraine. I was even published in a Dutch newspaper at that time," – the defender recalls with a smile.

Serhiy says that there were a lot of volunteers in the territorial defense, but only few of them had enough skills: "I taught the boys. For almost a month and a half, to put it bluntly, we dug dugouts and chased saboteurs, marauders through the forests - together with the special forces. The forest is big there, but I know it well. I was on a machine gun, and three more machine gunners were flying with a detached mirror. All this time we were sleeping dressed and wearing shoes in the first aid station, so that we would be ready to leave at any moment."

At the beginning of April, the russian occupiers retreated, and a relative lull began for the territorial defense. "I called the military commissariat again – they said to wait, wait, wait again. I contacted an old acquaintance, major: help me, friend, I can't sit still. If I don't have a place in the Armed Forces, I'll go to the Right Sector to beg." An old acquaintance helped: in five days Serhiy was already there - in the front-line troops.

And there is also a romantic line in this story. A bride is waiting for Serhiy at home. It was she who gifted her defender a bulletproof vest.

During the conversation, I sincerely admitted that I already dream of meeting Serhiy at the company's office to hear about the war live. And he jokes that it will be very, very soon, because, judging by the design of the banners of the online store, no one has been found to replace him, so we have to finish the enemy and get back to work :)

When I asked to tell something positive, Serhiy said the following: "Here in my team, there is no one forced - all are volunteers, aged from 20 to 52 years old. Everyone's eyes are burning, everyone is ready to defend Ukraine to the last, to the end. And these are not just words. Globally, neither salary nor social security is important to them - only victory over the rashists."
