HALARAN HUNTRESS.

The warrior pose of the huntress is very iconic and I love it. It was due to this admiration that I decided to draw something straight out of the card instead of improvising or manipulating. The attention to details in this particular drawing was strong and I made sure I didn't leave any piece out. The drawing would've encompassed the whole card but a quick rethink and appropriation led to a resolution at this point.
The process is quite simple and you can follow my steps easily to achieve the same result. Only thing is the difference in colour. That is the replacement of Red for Yellow and Orange.

The card

The lineart was the first thing I attended to and I made sure the capturing was a bit accurate.

eventually the spot was a little smaller than the original lineart. I made sure I stuck to the integrity of the sketch than the first layout.

I reaffirmed the depths of the character and made sure all the black spots were covered...

using red and blue, I covered the empty spots of the character...

Sooner than expected I was done with the drawing.

The materials I used while making this sketch are blue, black and red pens from two brands: BIC and SCHNEIDER
