The loan that nearly gave me a heart attack

Giving out loans is one risky thing that I restrict my self from doing, but due to the "human" in me, I do give out loans. ![]()

Sensible people utilize the loan perfectly and grow with it's aid, but the other use it for things that will not yield anything for them.

Giving out a loan is one interesting way of making money that people don't really know of, but it has its own risk. For example, I may borrow Mr A, the sum of 20000 hive and set my interest rate to be 5% weekly which they will have to pay for 24weeks. I am not good at maths, but 5% of 20,000 is roughly 100. You will find out that I will be making around 2,400 hive with my additional 20,000hive after 24weeks.

Cool cash yeah?

HAVE I EVER GIVEN SOMEONE A RISKY LOAN?

Yes I have. It was very hard to decide wether or not I should give out that loan because I was scared that the person will not pay back, but I had to give out the loan based on the troubles the person is facing.

Some months back, my colleague was in desperate need of finance and I had some with me, but was scared. I didn't know how she was going to pay back and when I asked her, she did not give me a positive response. She just said somethings that was not even related to the question.

A part of me was telling me to give her while the other was I should not give her but I trusted my instincts because they were telling me to help out. I realized that she was disoriented and that was why she could not answer my question properly, so I had to give her a mental therapy in other to make her calm and come back to her self. After this, I gave her the loan without interest, and made her promise to return it which she promised.

HOW IT WORKED FOR ME

It was hard. No cap, it was.

That money I gave her was budgeted for something else and I had to make that thing wait and as such, I became somewhat restless thinking that she will not give back the money. I had to start reassuring myself that she is a good and trusted person, and she will return the money in no time. She promised to return it in 2 weeks and few days to the two weeks, she started give some attitude and It really made me mad but I tried to suppress the anger until the bargained time for payment.

On that exact day that made it two weeks, I called but her phone was not reachable and I became somewhat restless. I calmed myself and tried to meditate so as to forget bout it.

DID SHE RETURNED THE MONEY?

After waiting almost forever for her, she finally showed up in the evening with the money and some addition which she called "thank you money." I reluctantly accepted the "thank you money" but i was happy that my money finally came back to me.
