Creative Sunday: my secret recipe for making potato in campus
You like what you see? Then allow me to take you through the process of making this beautiful dish.
Before I go into my creative Sundays post, I will love to make a public apology for breaking an important rule in the hive platform, spamming. I have learnt my lessons the hard way and I want to appreciate the HL team for giving me another chance to prove my self as a hive blogger. Thanks a lot bosses.
The dish you see above is something I have never made before in my entire life and I have not seen any one made it.
How I got the idea?
I was thinking about what to do as my creative Sunday post but nothing came to mind.i thought hardly and widely but still to no avail.
I went back to the creative Sunday guide and I saw that food too can be made for a creative Sunday post, and I such I started thinking of a nonexistent dish to make. I remembered I had potatoes in the house, I and I had some other things to add up to the dish, so I immediately got to work.
First off, I gathered all that I needed for the dish to make sure that I didn't forget anything.
What I needed to make the dish are:
Potatoes
Fresh pepper
Onion
A cube of maggi
Salt
Raw egg
Palm oil and vegetable oil
Music (Eminem)
After gathering the needed supplies, I diced the potatoes into an average sized dice, I grinded the pepper and ginger, then I cut the onions to he size I desired.
Lets us cook
pot with vegetable oil and onion.
I placed a dry pot on the fire, then I added the vegetable oil and salt in it.
Next, I added onions to the vegetable oil then I allowed the onion to cook until it became brown.

After adding the fresh pepper
After that, I added the diced potatoes (without water) then I added the fresh pepper immediately.
Next, I stirred and mixed everything together including the maggi seasoning and salt. I stirred for about 1 minute, then I covered the pot and allowed it to fry.
Every 30 seconds, I open the pot, stirred the food for ten seconds and then cover the pot back. I did this until the vegetable oil got dried up.
When the oil dried up, I added about 15mls of water to the dish to allow the food cook after frying.
I used the containers cover to measure the oil.
Next, I added very little amount of the palm oil then I stirred gently to avoid mashing the potatoes. Reason for the palm oil is to provide taste and vitamin nutrient. After this, I covered he pot and allowed the water to dry up. I stirred occasionally to prevent he food from burning.
When the water dried up, I stirred gently and brought down the dish from the fire.
Next, I fried the egg, but I did not do a sunny side up because the sun was not up 😹
After the egg, I prepared pap (akamu) to push down the dish while eating.
After the processes, I served the food with the pap and it was really tasty. It even surpassed my expectations.

I hope, you have learned from your punishment. You need to add natural potatoes, it will give you better taste.
Yes I have, the hard way though but it's better to learn the hard way at times.
I don't really understand what you meant by "natural potatoes" can you expamciate?
