This is a very interesting topic because we really would not know how far we all willing to go till we are where we are. It is easy to say I can survival on my own in the forest for a year. My statement may be prompted by some action movie I have seen and maybe adrenaline rush too. But when I find myself in the forest for real, them my statement would be tested to see how far I can go. At least, I will know the difference between movies and real life situations.

I cannot really specify how long I can last in a survival type of situation but I am sure I will try my best to make it out unharmed.

Stating a specific time frame for survival without having an idea of the situation is just a boast that won't fly. I know everyone has their survival instinct when danger arise, this is why I am sure my best will be enough to see me out.

However, I do not wish anyone fall into such situation. It is a really bad situation to be in, when your survival is based on luck or how well you can hide. It is really bad.

I understand you exactly, it's just like certain situations in life, you wouldn't believe how far you would go to survive until you are placed in that position.

You’re right, it’s easy to boast about survival until real life tests us. I like how you emphasized instincts and doing everything possible to make it out safe. A very realistic and nice post
