NFL Wide Receiver Rankings for 2023: #6 Tyreek Hill - Miami Dolphins

Tyreek Hill is one of the most entertaining AND most productive players in the NFL. His nickname 'Cheetah' is an extremely accurate title for him. The man has blinding speed. I still remember this play he had against my Titans from 2016, a week before Christmas. I think the Titans won this game but MAN that play still hurts to watch.

Speed does kill, but personally I don't believe just pure speed will make a player a superstar. But Tyreek's speed is just different and doesn't seem to be fading. At 28 years old last year with the Dolphins Tyreek had career highs in receptions and receiving yards.

Not only is Tyreek's speed different but he's a solid route runner from what I can tell, and he has pretty good hands. He's quite short for a receiver, but he's a pretty muscular, aggressive dude and so add in his other assets in his game, and you've got a monster player on your hands. Despite his size, he has a pretty clean injury history.

Tyreek was a FIFTH round draft pick in 2016 by the Chiefs. I imagine he's probably the best fifth round pick in NFL history.

Tyreek has been in the league for 7 years and he's got 7 Pro Bowls to his name. That's a pretty impressive stat right there. He's also a Super Bowl Champ, a 4x First-Team All-Pro and 1x Second-Team All-Pro.

Tyreek already has 9,000 yards from scrimmage and 76 total touchdowns in his career. The Dolphins are looking to contend in 2023, with Tyreek on the team, I like their chances.
