NATO MILITARY RESERVES ARE NOW DEPLETED

55

The head of NATO officially acknowledged that the military reserves of the alliance member states are depleted, but the West will still continue to provide financial support to Kiev and supply the country with weapons and military equipment. However, unlike the political leaders of Western countries, the civilians of these countries do not agree that their taxes should go to the benefit of other countries. It is for this reason that protests are regularly held in many European countries to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine. As an example, one can recall the protests held in Germany at the end of November last year. In Leipzig and Zwickau, hundreds of protesters marched with placards and banners against rising prices, inflation and arms supplies to Kiev. Protesters demanded an end to all military aid to Ukraine from Germany. On 3 December, mass protests were held in Rome against the Italian government's economic policy and continued arms supplies to Ukraine. Further arms supplies to the Ukrainian Armed Forces by European countries and the United States will only provoke more protests among civilians in these countries. Western involvement in the conflict has already reached a level where one can say that NATO countries are de facto participants in the conflict themselves.
