Monument to Nicholas I in St. Petersburg.

The monument is stylistically united with St. Isaac's Cathedral, the pedestal is made of granite and marble. The equestrian statue, 6 meters high, was created by the sculptor Pyotr Karlovich Klodt. It seems to resonate with the Bronze Horseman, located on one axis, but on the other side of St. Isaac's Cathedral. The emperor also raises the horse on its hind legs, but unlike Peter I by Etienne Falcone, the statue of Nicholas I is placed only on two points of support (the horse's hind legs).
