Splinterlands art contest / ink drawing of Pirate Of Eight

I would love to welcome you all to my splinterlands art contest post for the week but this week i have decided explore the character named Pirate of eight. I love this character because she is a female pirate it tell me woman can be anything they want to be, for ladies it's not all about being cuddly but being able to prove yourself out there. This character is an inspiration to me.

• Materials i used for this drawing
  Black, pink,yellow and brown pen
  2B pencil
  Eraser
  A4 paper

It is quite amazing how the idea and the drawing all cane out well defined i can tell you for sure that it wasn't easy but it happened and I'm glad it turned out great, i used the cross hatching shading technique for this drawing ,still working on the technique though but I'm glad it turned out great. For a start i made a rough sketch of the image after which i began to draw out the image using a black pen. As i drawing the image added the shadings and details where neccessary just to make things faster. I started to use the pen right from the eyes to get a good perception on how to go about the remaining part. After i was done with my black pen i used the colored pen to give life to the image giving it a form of attraction. I hope you all like this drawing thanks for stopping by.
