Splinterlands art contest / ink drawing of Nectar Queen

Hello friends, its a wonderful sunny day out here I'm glad the holidays are going smoothly, i hood you are all having fun with your families like i am. Today i would be making my last entry for the year to the splinterlands contest, to be honest it hass benn a wonderful and fruitful year. My entry is a drawing of the character Nectar Queen which appears to be a Queen bee. I decided to do my very own illustration of here and i think i like the out come of the image.

Unlike most queen bees, Nectar Queens like to get out of the nest and get their Proboscis dirty. Fortunately, you can hear one coming long before it reaches you. Unfortunately, they have a real taste for blood.

• Materials
  Black, Orange and green pen
  2B pencil
  Eraser
  Yellow pencil crayon
  A4 paper

With this materials i was able to come up with this drawing which was quite amazing, i used the cross hatching technique for the shading of the image. I hope you all love the turn out of my drawing, the process of my drawing lies below feel free to ask any question or drop your comment.
