I thought I wasn't going to have many prunes this year because the heavy winds dropped a lot of flowers during the spring. However, all the prune trees that were in the middle of the forest gave lots of fruit thanks to being protected. A lesson that sunlight is not the only important thing in growing food, diversity will see you through the different circumstances.

I love prunes, thebred ones my favourite
What kind of climate do those grow on?
Those are huge like apples!
Hahah do they look like that? They are actually rather small, but very sweet and juicy

I suppose I am used to seeing prunes already dehydrated or dried and shriveled … not plump
I see, I went and looked up the difference between prunes and plums (I know you said plump, but it still stirred the question) and these are plums! Prunes are purple or blueish, with oval shape, while plums are reddish and heart-shaped
Where are you growing from?
South Chile my friend
Oooo that sounds like fun… I’m in a pine tree forest, it’s a clear cut area so it’s going to take some time to regrow a canopy. I’m thinking about using bamboo.
