Highlight from an Art Workshop I am currently participating in......
Good Day Fellas,
I recently got selected to participate in an art workshop, it started yesterday and it's been a beautiful experience so far, we have series of life drawings yesterday and today we eventually graduated into creating life painting, we had some life models and each artist picks his or her choice from the available models and the study begins!
THE LEADS!
Before approaching the Canvas, I had series of quick life sketches of my model in order to decide which of the composition I find more interesting and would be painting.
I eventually picked the angle I found more interesting and I began my drawing on canvas using burnt umber, by the way, I had initially used yellow orchre acrylic paint to prepare the surface of my canvas a day before.
The underpainting exercise was really fun and all I wished for... I can't wait to start adding rich colours into the painting to bring out all the beauties that's yet to be revealed in it.
