We need to do another DAO vote or someone shoudl take the initiative to issue another. We committed to giving a period of time before we release version 5 for someone/anyone of the MANY people who were complaining that we did not provide enough time to consider and vote for their choice. So although it did pass to release without Hive, I think it's better to be safe than sorry don't you?
