Before the storm

Summer photo before the storm.
By the way, I think I'll make some kind of drawing based on it.
At least I like it.
Actually ... now sitting in the room I noticed that the temperature has become a degree lower than it was yesterday. That is, summer is finally over.
And it's even a bit sad.
It so happened that this summer I almost "didn't see it". That's what we say when you work all summer and don't have time to rest.
Yes, I didn't have any full-fledged vacation. Like a year ago... what two years ago ... like ... God, when did I even have something that could be called a retreat? lol.
So, what's up with the photo?
This photo was taken before the storm.
This is nature waiting for the storm.
The wind has died down, the leaves have frozen. Small white inflorescences have held their breath under the weight of the air. A yellow flower is in the center of the frame. A butterfly sits motionless on it, its wings pressed together. Nature around has frozen, the sky is about to burst with a roar of thunder.
This silence before the storm. I try to remember what my summer was like.
Fantastic job on today's Ecency leaderboard quest, @shadeflowersart!
Tipped with Ecency POINTS.
I am trying again
To remember my summer,
What it was like.
This complete silence
Before the storm
Starts
My heart is constricting.
The sky will soon
Rip apart with a roar
Of a strong thunder.
Everything around
Still froze in anticipation of
The first drops.
A small butterfly
Folded its wings quietly,
Sitting motionless.
A yellow flower
Right in the center of the frame
Burns brightly.
White inflorescences
Hold their breath
In the thick air.
The wind has died down,
The green leaves around
Suddenly froze.
This is a moment of waiting,
When living nature
Asks for a thunderstorm.
What is in the photo,
Which caught my eye
In the evening.
When did I have
True peace of mind
And free minutes.
No vacation,
Like a year ago,
Or even more.
Every day of mine
Spent in hard work,
Without rest.
I have hardly seen this summer
Because of work.
It is a little sad,
That time runs so quickly
Into the unknown.
Here is the finale,
The warm summer has gone
Without return.
I sit in the room,
The thermometer quietly says:
It has become colder.
I love it,
This frame of the last days
Of warm thoughts.
Soon this picture
Will become a new drawing
On the white sheet.
Summer in the photo,
Before the storm itself
The world stopped.
