Almost the final version of the Panel made of wooden slices.

So this is what the almost final version of the panel made of wooden slices looks like.
The OSB board was taken as a basis.
A powerful frame was created from a 30 mm thick beam from the back.
The wooden slices were made of birch. The grass and mountains are made of pine boards.
It wasn't a very easy project for me, because at the very beginning I had very little time to do everything myself.
That is, I cut and assembled each piece of wood myself.
This is the first full photo of the entire work.
Now there is still room at the top for a sign with text.
There is also an interesting effect planned here ... the outline will be outlined with luminescent paint. That is, this is a panel that "works" all the time.
Of course, this artwork is just one big experiment for me.

The play of light and shadow on the relief surface changes throughout the day, making the panel look new every time.
The uniqueness of handmade work lies in the small imperfections that make the product alive and unique.
The pine mountains towering over the birch mosaic symbolize man's aspiration for greatness and harmony with nature.
Creating such a large-scale panel resembles climbing to the top, where every step is difficult, but opens up an incredible view.
Each annual ring on a birch cut becomes part of a great artistic story about the flow of time.
The difficulties in implementing a complex idea only add real weight and inner strength to the final result.
The tree retains the warmth of human hands and a natural texture that no modern machine can reproduce.
A bold experiment with forms and materials always leads the master through doubts to the discovery of new possibilities.
A real work of art does not fall asleep at night, but continues its silent conversation with space thanks to its hidden glow.
The luminescent paint on the contours is designed to give the product a second life, which begins with the onset of darkness.
The upper part of the panel is deliberately left free, because the main words of the project have yet to find their ideal embodiment.
The first look at the finished work in its full length brings an incomparable feeling of completion and relief.
Independent cutting and fitting of each detail creates a special connection between the creator and his future creation.
The lack of time at the beginning of the work forces you to mobilize all your strength, turning each movement of the tool into a precise and calibrated step.
Pine boards under the author's hands turn into silhouettes of mountains and forest grasses, enlivening a static plane.
Birch cuts fit into a general pattern like a mosaic, where each piece of wood has its own unique place.
A solid base of slabs and thick timber holds not only wooden elements, but also hours of intense creative work.
Each handmade product begins with a simple idea and a pile of raw material waiting for the touch of a master.
