Hey mate! Somee is a social network that has just attached itself to the Hive blockchain, along with an alleged 40,000 users....that's the good news. The bad news is, the 40,000 users only post one-line posts such as 'good morning' etc lol...this is not going down well. I just tested out their site to see what appeared on Hive and because its just posted one line, I thought I better add a picture by editing the post on Hive before I got downvoted for shit posting!!!

I was looking at your cool cross-culture community earlier but I'm English. I only live in Thailand so I thought it would be wrong of me to post here although I do have many thoughts on the difference in cultures and ways etc !!

Thanks for dropping by and I promise I will take a closer look at your community and throw a few decency boost upvotes on your users if they're not getting the recognition they deserve.

Best wishes my friend :-)

Nahh it’s for any discussion of culture. The goal of the community is to bridge cultural gaps so we can create our own cultures together. Doesn’t matter where you from or where you wanna talk about. In fact I think people living outside of their home countries have the most interesting things to say sometimes.

Eesh, I think these platforms should think more about how to integrate. A Craigslist or Twitter like app on hive is a great idea but to treat every submission as a hive post seems like a bad idea. On-chain and off-chain hybrid might be great. Like splintlands doesn’t turn every game or every move into a post. An app like that could make a way to collect many tweet-like off chain posts or conversation threads into on chain hive posts.

Like imagine our conversation in the comments like this becomes a post. That might be cool.

Thanks for offering that. We try to curate people as much as we can but sometimes there are posts that at least deserve an extra hive or two that we miss
