New Ink Drawing for the Splinterlands Art Contest - Serpent of the Flame

I was very skeptical about making this piece because i have never before drawn a snake character. That is both for the Splinterlands art contest and my personal drawings. Before embarking on this piece especially because i use the hatching technique with no straight lines i made some enquiries and asked one or two people how they think its tail should be. I did some brainstorming too as to how better i can project the fire and this was what i came up with. I am sorry if you can't see the eyes properly or if some other features and characteristics got mixed up but i really am proud of the work.
