Found all this old silver plated flatware in the house we are cleaning up to Sell on our property. Not very valuable but I love old stuff and some fine steel wool cleans it up rather nicely I'd say!

Don't grind it down Sam :) now steel wool. Only polish as one use on the car :)

Thanks! I have some natural non-toxic polish but it wasn't getting the crud off. I'm only doing enough steel wool for crud removal then using the polish. I'll give some car polish a try next.
