Actually, only me and my two sons traveled. My wife and my eldest had work. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the games and the stories. We missed other family members. 10 of them were not able to come Only 26 people gathered in our reunion.

Attaining perfect attendance seems to be a very difficult challenge for family reunions. 🤔 That said, having a family reunion where not everyone in the extended family are able to attend is still much better than having none at all. 🤗

This gathering is actually only for the families of my brothers and sisters. If we will include our cousins, that will be too big. We need a mansion to house all of them. 😄

Most people (especially those who actively attend family reunions) is a gathering of at least 3 generations of the family (parents, children and children-in-law, and grandchildren). 🤓 If that's what your gathering is, then I would agree that you are having a (small) family reunion. 😅

I know your definition of generation is different from what I said. I thought we belong to a different generation. Just realized that we are both included in Generation X. Still, we represent 3 generations for my eldest son is a Millennial while my other 2 sons belong to iGen. 😅

That means what you are saying about generations is the year when the person was born, not how the members of the extended family are related to each other. 😅
