"U.S. Congressman Tom Emmer says the FTX meltdown is not a crypto failure but a failure with SEC Chairman Gary Gensler, former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, and centralized finance."

"What is the regulator responsible for this doing, going after good actors in the community, and working backroom deals, it appears, with people who’s doing nefarious things."

They just want to regulate it to get their hands on our money. While he was right about it being bankman-fried's fault, government regulations rarely keep us safe. They tend to react, rather than be proactive. Also, since it looks like ftx was in bed with many US lawmakers, they'd have protected him anyway. The government needs to stay out of it and let the market figure it out. Decentralization is the way to go, because centralization has too many different tiers of justice that is used to benefit themselves, rather than the people. Justice is not blind in America, it's subjective. And of course, this issue is definitely not crypto-centric, so he was right on that as well.

I hate it when I read a threat like this:

U.S. regulations affect you, no matter where you live.

Weird, your comment is not showing up on SoMee and I haven't received a notif for it. I'm replying from Peakd. And I agree; I live in the U.S. and don't want them affecting me. If you don't live here it has to be way more annoying.

Oh, I miss that. I forgot to reply on somee.social. I am using ecency.

I think when you post on somee.social, it will appear on PeakdD and eceny after 5 minutes of your last post. But if you will comment either on PeakD or ecency, it will not appear on somee.social. I hope the team can fix this.

That explains it. They said it's coming in the future, but I don't think posting from Hive to SoMee is coming anytime soon. I can't believe they haven't fixed the bugs from the last update yet.
