So many things happened in the month of May in LeoFinance. The Zealy campaign got me excited. I learned how to complete quests. Creating threads too, I find it fun. The campaign ended with me occupying the 7th place in the Threads Leaderboard.

However, completing the other quests isn't easy, particularly the CYOA - The Artist Quest. The only art I can do is to draw a stick man. 🤣😂

Rewards

Five days before the end of the campaign, @anomadsoul clarified the mechanics of the prize distribution. Seeing my place dropped down to number 53, I gave up the hope to be included in the reward zone.

And then near the end of the Zealy campaign, The Battle of The Three Armies has been announced. This made me think that the chance to have a claim in the prize pool isn't closed yet. The move was strategic and the most appropriate way to conclude the game. This ended the campaign on a high note. Grateful to my #blacklions team particularly to our top Captains @lebey1 and @shawnnft for leading us to victory!

Though I am not fortunate enough to be included in the top 40 that will have a share in the $10,000 prize distribution, I am grateful for the following rewards:

• Boss Slayer NFT

• a ticket to the HiveFest raffle, and

• a 500 Leo Power delegation for a month

The above rewards are given to those who have completed the 3,000 threads for the month of May.

Since I also contributed to the victory of the #blacklions army, I am wondering if I will be entitled to receive another Boss Slayer NFT.

Other rewards I will receive include a Lion Zealer NFT for reaching 10,000 xp, an OG NFT for 20,000 xp, a Lion Hustler NFT for the top 100 threaders, and another 500 LEO Power delegation for a month for reaching the top 50 in Zealy Leaderboard.

$LEO's Market Price

With the success of the Zealy campaign and other developments associated with LeoFinance, it is no surprise to many of us to see the price of the token starting to climb.

The above $LEO chart is getting much attention these past few days. As you can see the price of the token started to rise as the month of May closed. To me, this indicates a growing interest in the token among Hivers and lions.

It was still fresh in my mind the time I added $LEO two weeks ago at around half of its current price. As I checked HE Explorer, I observed that I have several purchases of the token since the 30th of May at different price levels:

If my computation is accurate, with $LEO’s current ask price at 0.28498000, the percentage increase compared to that May 30th purchase is now at 94.14%. In the stock market, such a number is sufficient enough to take a profit. However, even with that huge % increase, $LEO is still deeply undervalued.

A Reminder in Celebrating #LPUD's 1st Anniversary

I know that the LeoFinance team focuses primarily on continuous growth and development. And besides, with a very active community that supports the project, it is more logical to think that the price of the token has nowhere to go but up. But of course, we don’t know how the market would respond and so it’s better to leave price speculation and follow instead the example of those who are deeply invested in this layer two projects.

With that in mind, the only reasonable action is to grow one’s holdings of the token. With today’s $LEO Power Up Day on #LPUD's First Anniversary, I powered up 300 $LEO earlier this day.

Update of My $LEO Power

Finally, I now reached 3,206 staked LEO plus the 69.82 liquid LEO in my wallet. If the recent development in the increase of $LEO rewards will continue, I might power up more than 300 the next time we will have another #LPUD this 15 of July. I am looking forward to that. If what I expect will take place, perhaps, I will achieve that 5,000 goal earlier than my deadline.

Conclusion

The Leo tribe and its token are really strong. Imagine the price increase amid a strong negative sentiment in the crypto space and yet we see the price of the token continually soaring.

Nonetheless, if anyone has time to analyze all the wallets of $LEO holders, I believe that instead of powering down, almost everybody is growing their stakes. If this is not a testament to the resiliency of a Hive project like LeoFinance, I don't know what appropriate word can you use to describe this kind of phenomenal growth.
