My LEO Goals for 2023

Yesterday, after reading @leogrowth’s post about setting LEO goals for 2023, I came to realize two things:

First, about three different statuses in the LEO community:

• Newborn CUB = 2,000 LEO Power

• CUB = 5,000 LEO Power

• LION = 15,000 LEO Power

Second, I also realize that LeoFinance is a very busy community when it comes to growth and development:

We have Ad revenue coming for Leo holders, several social initiatives, Gamification, NFTization, the new UI is coming, social media strategies, SEO and Marketing campaigns, a parent website for the LeoVerse, strengthening the DeFi side, collaborations with projects in and out of Hive, influencer marketing and much, much more.

With the number of developments going on, staking LEO is the most logical and profitable thing to do.

As for participating in the community project of setting LEO goals for 2023, I thought the project is not for me. I missed this part:

Have less than 2k LP, you must finish 2023 with 2k + your current stack - Let's say you have 500 LP by Jan 1, then you must have 2.5k by Dec 31.

I mistakenly thought that I need to buy 600 LEO before the year ends to reach the newborn cub status. Thinking that I could not come up with 95 HIVE to buy that quantity of LEO, I was about to dismiss the project.

It’s good that @anomadsoul clarified that even though I could not reach 2,000 LEO Power by the end of the year, still I can join this project. And then he gave me the number to reach by the end of 2023 and which is 3,406 LEO Power.

I think that’s doable. I just need to power up 167 LEO every month. With the #LPUD project, the minimum requirement is 150. I just need to add 17 LEO.

Nevertheless, @leogrowth said that the goals must be both attainable and ambitious. So instead of reaching 3,406 LEO Power by the end of 2023, I am thinking of achieving the CUB status with 5,000 LEO Power. In this case, I need to double the number of LEO I am powering up every #LPUD.

I am aware that with my current capacity, powering up 300 LEO every month isn’t easy. That’s the ideal goal. My minimum target is 167 and the maximum is 300. I am anticipating that by the middle of next year or even earlier, my other Hive Engine tokens can help me provide the SWAP.HIVE I need to buy LEO. I am thinking of CTP, CENT, SME, and LOLZ. As of now, SME provides me with at least 5 SWAP.HIVE every week. With LEO’s current market price, with that amount, I can buy at least 32 LEO. Moreover, setting aside a budget of 500.00 PHP or 9.00 USD per month, I can buy at least 192 LEO. That’s a total of 224 LEO. I only need 76 more and I think I can get that from curation and content creation.

Since nothing is certain, I am thinking of making some adjustments to my plan. During the early months, I will try to achieve the minimum 167 LEO and up. As my other Hive Engine tokens will provide me the SWAP.HIVE I need, that’s the time I will increase powering up 300 LEO and up every month. Let’s see how things will turn out.
