To prepare for today’s LEO Power Up Day (LPUD), I purchased 200 plus LEO last 11 and 12 July:

Six days ago, when I published my micro-investing monthly report, I mentioned the small amount of LEO I have. Since I failed to publish a report last month, that report almost a week ago contained my progress after two months.

In two months, my LEO power grew 30.22% from 309.59 to 403.16. Nonetheless, though the number increased, its USD value dropped 35.00% from $41.56 to $27.01.

Powering up 200.611 LEO

During the early months of playing Splinterlands, I had this difficulty claiming my SPS due to this time synchronization problem. To solve this issue, instead of using our local time, I decided to use the US time. And so I waited for the date on my computer to shift from 14 July to 15 July before I decided to power up.

Why are you powering up?

Yes, I recognize LeoFinance is the number one platform on Hive when it comes to crypto and financial content. However, I decided several months ago to prioritize other tokens instead due to a few considerations, and one of them is a capital constraint.

Last month, I hesitated to participate in LPUD because of the bigger size of HIVE to be used in powering up LEO. With LEO’s current market price, one has to spend more or less 30 HIVE to power up 200 LEO.

Nevertheless, I realized that in the case of LEO the reason why it requires a bigger amount of HIVE for LPUD is that there is no such thing as LEO power up month (LPUM) where a daily powering up of LEO is required.

Furthermore, in my experience, since the day I participated in HIVE power-up day, it benefitted me in such a way that I became conscious to increase my HIVE power daily. Though small, one or two HIVE per day, that is already very encouraging. Any sign of daily growth is better than no growth at all.

For LeoFinance to imitate HIVE PUD is a good move for the lions and cubs to have such awareness to grow our LEO power at least on monthly basis.
