Great work. Were you in Diamond league?

No. Gold III was the highest league I reached, but I ended the Season at Silver I.

To continue battling in Gold III is difficult for my deck. Not prepared yet. My winning rate dropped to 50/50. I think I can manage up to Silver I. Brawl is a different field. Next time, I will try Bronze. Too courageous on my part to fight in Silver. I got slaughtered. Perfect score! 9 out of 9. 😄

Yeah , it's no fun playing when you lose often. I am struggling in gold sometimes with some very strong decks. I try to reach gold 1, but need to strengthen my fire Deck.

Yeah, the key is the Summoner then upgrading cards to their maximum level for that specific league.

Mylor level 3 and level 2 kelyar , both rented are carrying me right now. But not enough for gold 1

If I find it difficult to maintain Gold 3, I could not imagine the level of cards fighting in Gold 1.

Great for you! In my case, I think it's the death team that is getting stronger.

They have some deadly monsters. Also the ranged attack form pelacor arbalest can be lethal

I usually find it easy to defeat Pelacor Arbalest's team in Silver 3 using Quix the Devious. Perhaps, in Gold 1, his team got stronger.

Quix can be a challenge. That reminds me to rent Axemaster again.

And if you teamed up Dragons with Water, you can also summon Naga Windmaster. With both Quix and Naga, I find it sometimes funny to see Pelacor Arbalest almost powerless. 😄

If you forget to defend against opponent Melee Attacks, you might see your team get defeated quickly by an opponent Rare Silvershield Assassin (plus the Common Feral Spirit) powered up by a Common Silvershield Knight (and the Epic Dragon Summoner Daria Dragonscale). 😆😅

The Legendary Dragon Summoner Selenia Sky increases the Ranged Attack of all friendly Monsters by 1. 🤓 Since you can use the Summoner with any other Splinter, you can pair it up with the Epic Water Monster Axemaster and deal devastating damage to the opponent's Monsters. 😏

We can also say that Axemaster is generally better than Pelacor Arbalest because of its higher Speed and Health. 😄 !LOLZ

Having even just a Level 1 Legendary Summoner allows you to use the Axemaster up to Level 2. 🤓 !PIZZA

Hope your #Splinterlands team with Selenia Sky and Axemaster doesn't get countered by a weakening strategy similar to what @rzc24-nftbbg likes where the opponent uses the Quix the Devious and Naga Windmaster (Rare Water Monster with Headwinds Ability) combo. 😅

The Legendary Water Summoner Lir Deepswimmer is a great counter to opponents using the Summoners General Sloan (and especially Yodin Zaku). 🤓 Just a single hit by the opponent's Pelacor Arbalest if you are using Lir Deepswimmer can instantly defeat that Ranged Monster. 😏 !PIZZA

When is best to use Sloan?

0

It is best to use General Sloan on Battles when the opponent least expects it (such as Battles whose Ruleset doesn't give an advantage to Ranged Monsters). 🤓 I can't give more specific recommendations because there are simply too many Rulesets and Monster/Summoner Abilities for each League and Level. 🤯😅 !LOLZ

Yes, I want to buy a Quix the devious. He's pretty awesome

The price of a Level 3 General Sloan is still lower by roughly $3 on the #Splinterlands market than a Level 1 Quix the Devious, so while one Summoner is a counter to the other, you should be ready for L3 General Sloan's more upgraded Monsters (4/3/2/2) compared to L1 Quix the Devious's less upgraded Monsters (3/2/1/1). 🤓

Maybe a better alternative to Quix the Devious is an upgraded Rare Life Riftwatchers Summoner Ilthain, which instead of slowing down opponent Monsters and reducing their Ranged Attack, speeds up friendly Monsters and gives each of them the Return Fire Ability that won't just weaken the opponent's Pelacor Arbalest (and other Monsters with high Ranged Attack) but also quickly defeat it. 🤓

Looks like you will have to spend a lot of DEC (or CREDITS) to buy and upgrade multiple #Splinterlands Summoner Cards at the same time. 😅 !LOLZ

Do you think the price of DEC will come down? It may be worth to wait. !LOLZ

The price of DEC going down won't necessarily affect the price of #Splinterlands Cards, and might even cause the Cards to require more DEC to be sold. 🤓 !LOLZ

I was thinking that if I am hodling liquid Hive, it would go further..?

0

No matter what the price of DEC is, if the prices (in USD) of the #Splinterlands Cards you want to buy don't change, then you won't get any savings by waiting for the price of DEC to change. 🤓 !CTP

I am regretting now not renting a level 3 GF Kron earlier! Do you like him? !LOL

To use a Level 3 Legendary Monster in #Splinterlands, you must first have a Level 5 Rare, Level 4 Epic, or Level 3 Legendary Summoner. 🤓 That's why even if you are able to rent a Level 3 Kron the Undying, you also need to spend a lot of DEC (or CREDITS) to rent (or buy) a heavily upgraded Earth or Dragon Summoner that will allow you to use the upgraded Kron the Undying to its maximum capacity. 😏 !LOL

Obsidian lvl6 should do. Then it would have last stand automatically . !LOL

The disadvantage with not using Scarred Llama Mage as the Summoner is that Kron the Undying is vulnerable to the Disease debuff (which prevents Healing) as well as Silence (which reduces Magic Attack by 1). 🤓 !PIZZA

Yeah,I didn't look too closely at Llama's abilities.

Some #Splinterlands players use the upgraded (Level 3 or higher) Flesh Golem together with the Scarred Llama Mage, and it gives good results especially for Battles with low Mana Cap or Lost Magic Rule that prevents Kron the Undying from being used with Scarred Llama Mage. 🤓 !PIZZA !LOLZ

Alternatively, you can use a Level 7 Delwyn Dragonscale Summoner, which is the only Common Summoner on #Splinterlands that can support the 3rd Level of Kron the Undying. 🤓 It will also increase your Monsters' Magic Attack by 1. 😎 However, you need to be in the Gold League first to be able to use a Level 6 or 7 Common Card. 😅

Take note that when the opponent Monster being targeted by your Level 3 Kron the Undying (which deals 5 Magic damage when the Last Stand Ability is triggered) has the Void Ability, your Kron the Undying will deal only 3 damage whether or not your Summoner increases the Magic Attack of all friendly Monsters by 1. 🤓 !LOLZ

I know, it is bad when they do that! !LOL

Do you mean that dealing the same damage (which is 3) when the Magic attack of your Monster is 5 or 6 is bad? 🤔🤯😅 !LOL

Yeah, I think so. What is your favourite Splinter?

0

I like the Earth Splinter, especially because of the Rare Summoner Mylor Crowling which gives all friendly Monsters the Thorns Ability which is very effective against opponent Melee Monsters (especially when you use Monsters with high Health and high Armor). 🤓 !PIZZA

In case the Battle has the Keep Your Distance Rule where Melee Monsters cannot be used, I use the Water Splinter led by the Rare Summoner Bortus which reduces the Magic Attack of all opponent Monsters, along with the Legendary Water Monster Djinn Oshannus to further resist Magic Attacks. 🤓 !PIZZA

If you find a #Splinterlands Card easily defeating your team, why not use it against your opponents too? 😆😅 !LOL

In the Water Splinter, you should also prepare the Rare Summoner Kelya Frendul or the Legendary Summoner Possibilus the Wise in case the Battle has the Rule Lost Magic where Magic Monsters cannot be used. 🤓 The other Rare Water Summoner Vera Salacia (which gives the Snare Ability to all your Monsters) doesn't seem to be powerful, even in Battles with the Earthquake Rule. 😅

The Gold Foil Editions of #Splinterlands Cards give roughly 5 to 10 times more Collection Power than their Regular Edition counterparts of the same level, and each Gold Foil Card used in a Ranked Battle gives a bonus to the SPS rewards if the Battle is won. 🤓 However, they are indeed more expensive. 💸😅💸

I have a different SPS earning from staking. I earned that from Ranked Battles and partly from EOS.
