Bitcoin’s 7th Bull Cycle?
Dan Morehead, the CEO of Pantera Capital is very optimistic in claiming that the bull cycle in Bitcoin has already returned. The CEO boasts of Pantera’s 10-year experience in Bitcoin and 35 years in trading similar cycles. For him, such a long history is enough to give him confidence in identifying Bitcoin’s current trend.
The majority don’t share such a positive perspective. Many are still cautious and afraid due to last year’s busts involving big names such as Three Arrows, LUNA, and FTX. These made them skeptical about Morehead’s enthusiasm.
Nevertheless, Morehead is convinced that Bitcoin is now entering its 7th bull cycle. He also adds that if 2022 was the year of distrust, 2023 will be a year of “rebuilding trust” in Centralized Finance (CeFi)
Though I like to read constructive articles, I don’t share Morehead’s pro-regulation stance and his perspective on CeFi.

With the stance of Crypto to stay anonymous, thinking 2023 will be a year of “rebuilding trust” in Centralized Finance (CeFi) will just be quite the opposite way of why crypto us first created.
I wonder where will we be in the future, will we be rely on heavily monitored CEFI, or stick with the risky DEFI.
Same argument here. The question of trust as we know is closely related to CeFi and regulation in the first place.
