SRUK/CERU is a non-profit society that brings together the community
of Spanish researchers in the United Kingdom, highlights the role of
research in society, influences science policy and brings scientists closer
researchers and institutions from the United Kingdom and Spain. through the
creation of a social network organized by regional delegations, CERU
promotes, among others, the development of scientific dissemination projects
as Science-me a story, a project started in the northwest delegation
from United Kingdom.
The stories in this collection fuel scientific curiosity
and enrich their readers by transmitting scientific knowledge
in a close and fun way. In addition, in this book, the stories charge
life thanks to the volunteer illustrators who have worked closely
collaboration with the authors. The success of Science-me a story is due to the
joint effort of participants, jury, collaborators and organizers,
without whom this wonderful project would not be possible. we want to give
thanks to each author who has sent us his story, as well as to the illustrators
