Sun Rise Photography #6 🌤️☀️😎
(Edited)
Hello Photography Lovers, Nature Lovers and to all Hivers. Today I woke up a little bit late, my body felt a little bit on the heavy side and had a minor headache. I wasn't planning on doing a sun rise photography today but when I stepped outside the house and looked at the night sky it looked interesting so I decided to just go and see it for myself.
The sky was looking like a sun set even though its morning. It is definitely not the first time I saw the sky like this but I always get excited when I do. I just want to see and be mesmerized by it's beauty. So I had to go...
When I arrived at our local wharf the view really didn't disappoint. I really thought i will not be able to see it seeing I had to walk 1.5km from my house to the wharf but it seemed like I just made it in time. My body was heavy a few minutes ago and now it's gone...
Just looking at the reddish sky with translucent clouds together with the cold sea breeze is enough to make any kind of discomfort that I feel go away.
I mean just look at that... I may always see the same view almost everyday but it never gets old. No matter how many times I look at it, it will always be beautiful in my eyes.
I looked at the visible stone like footing the fishing guys made, I decided to give it a try and go to the other side since I am 100% sure photos I could take from there would be great but since I am quite a short guy sitting around 5 foot 2 inches tall I really could not climb up there without anyone pulling me from the top. So I decided to just back out and just be contented at the moment in my usual spot.
Even though I failed that attempt I am still fine at my usual spot and got this great photo
I decided to move to the center of the wharf to have a wide angle view for a shot. It is an ok shot I guess...
So I tried to look around and find a subject that I can focus on while blurring the background a bit and found the post from our suppose to be public cottage which was left by super typhoon rai since it blew away the whole roof into the sea. The blokeh effect seemed kinda nice, what do you guys think of it?
I needed to find a subject to contrast the image of the sun rising and I saw these two guys moving towards the end of the wharf so I decided to make them my subject. It turned out fine I guess, but it would have been better if I could find a person who would be willing to be a model for my shots.
I decided to move to the entrance of the wharf and see if I could get good shots there. But honestly I moved there because there might be more people coming into the wharf and I could make them a model to make my shots look better 😋
It is 6:30 in the morning now and I think I had enough photos for the day. But then a cyclist came and just stood there and I said hmmm I think I could get one last photo seeing as the model is quite close to where I was standing. I personally think it turned out great.
Now it's time to go home since I still have chores to do as always hahaha. That's it for me today guys, I hope you enjoy it and see you again tomorrow for another sun rise photography series 😁
