My Actifit Report Card: June 7 2024

Hello fellow Actifiters and good day to you all 😊

Today was a very exciting day for me 🥰 I was finally able to get my hands on a cpu upgrade for my computer 😍 I've been wanting to upgrade my computer for a while now but haven't really had the budget to do so. When I got my budget finally now the product are not available 🥹 I wanted to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 5600 with it's 6 cores / 12 threads since my current cpu is only a Ryzen 3100 with a 4 core / 8 threads. But like I said getting my hands on a Ryzen 5 5600 or even a 3600 was quite hard as former have no stocks almost all the time 😞 and the later is an old cpu which you can't buy brand new.

Sure there are a lot of good second hand deals but like the name suggests you can't guarantee it's life span. Unlike a brand new one which has a warranty ☺️

Anyways I have ordered a Ryzen 7 5700X which has 8 cores / 16 threads! 😲 Yeah baby 🤭 I need the cores for my photography use since exporting a lot of photos takes a toll on my old cpu that's why I have to upgrade but the upgrade path is quite limited now unlike it used to.

Well the store I ordered from told me my product has arrived and that I could get it anytime and so I took my time to walk / run towards their store 🥰 Right now I'm currently busy installing my new shiny CPU and I still have to install a new operating system as well since only my CPU is new 🥰

It was fun though I mean walking towards a goal that you know will help you a lot 😍 I'm quite excited about the performance of this CPU and it's impact to my current workflow. I hope it can atleast make my exporting time half than what my old cpu could do 🥰

Anyways guys this is all for me today. I still need to install the new software for my new cpu 😂
