My Actifit Report Card: February 29 2024

Hello everyone and good day to y'all ☺️ Today I was very happy coz I was able to eat something that I haven't eaten in years 😍 That thing you see in the photo above is called "Subaru" here in our area. Now truth be told I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling coz it sounds japanese to me 😅

Well it's a type of snack I thought gone through the years and it's the first time I saw one in decades 😅 I think the last time I tasted this was back when I was 8-10 years old and Im way past in my 30's now 😂

Anyways guys it's a crispy treat for children and a child-minded adult 😂 oh it just brings back memories and all. It's made of flour I guess similar to a lumpia wrapper but has a much crispier texture to it. It's also similar to a potato chip but much harder but without the potato taste. Then it's filled with a sweet syrup all around the top part and that's it really. It's fun to eat and sweet. This is why this street food was so popular to us back then. Today I'm just happy to see it's still here though like I said I haven't seen one in decades. This might be gone in the future and that would be quite sad. This vendor stayed in my son's school for a few hours already and I haven't seen a single kid buy one. The one's I saw buying it are adult's like me who knows how tasty it is 😅

Anyways that is all I got for you today. I was just reminiscing the good old days 😁 How about you? Do you have some foods you liked when you were young and haven't seen it for years now? ☺️
