The source of my stress

The concept of stress is something that almost everyone knows but not everyone can properly handle.

Without a doubt, stress can lead to many type of disease conditions but mostly, it uncovers underlying disease conditions.

I will like to share a little knowledge I have based on stress before going into the prompt.

Stress is basically divided into two which are:

  1. The eustress

  2. The Distress

Eustress is literally a good type of stress because it's a stress that motivates a person to accomplish a given task. For example, Dreemport and it's staff are passing through stress in other to keep the newbie marathon going. This is a positive stress because this act (newbie marathon) will bring about a positive impact in the history of hive.

Distress on the other hand, is a negative type of stress and can lead to ill health. In distress, the person cannot adapt to the stress level and as such, succumbs to it.

That being discussed, let's dive into today's prompt

WHAT HAS BEEN THE MAIN CAUSE OF MY STRESS

At the moment,I have a lot of things bothering me and to be honest, it is very difficult to control. Things causing my stress are:

  • My academics

  • My financial state

  • Combining academics and blogging

  • My relationship

All these are things that has been draining my life force lately and it's not funny at all.
The worst is my financial status as well as my relationship.

HOW I AM DEALING WITH THESE STRESS

It gets difficult most times and it feels like I want to give up at times. Last week, it became worst to the extent that I started having suicidal tendency. I had to go out for walks and communicate with some of my friends in other to ease the pain.

In terms of my academics and blogging, I scheduled a time for reading as well as a time for blogging. My new plan currently is to read during the early hours, after which I will type all my post in the morning before going to school, post one in the morning then schedule the other posts so that it will automatically post after 11-13hrs later without any need for me to log in. During that morning, I will also engage with other authors.

Speaking of my finances, at times I do transfer from my hive wallet so that I will be able to buy basic things for myself. I also go to different works during weekends. Lately, I had to pay for my experience and as such, I left school for sometime and went to hustle out the money for experience.

In terms of my relationship, i don't handle it again. I have tried to put all the efforts I can but it seems like this aspect of my life is not working well. So, I have chosen to not let it bother my peace again because I am too young to have hypertension.

These steps have been working for me as it helps me stay focused and have goal setting skills. I do get my rest and sleep as desired and I am healthy to a very good extent by God's grace.

WILL I BE ABLE TO GET RID OF WHAT IS CAUSING ME STRESS?
Honestly speaking, the answer to this question is: NO.

I have come to a realization that a man needs a purpose in other to live and without a purpose, a man will be meaningless. These "purpose" is a factor that causes stress for a man. Due to this fact, stress is inevitable. My purpose is to come out of school with flying colors and get a good relationship. If I don't stress myself, I will never be able to achieve this feat.

If a man cannot stress himself and get what he/she desires, believe me if you want, that man will tend to grow up to become lazy and he will lack basic skills needed for a successful path.

No matter what, stress has become a part of being human, and as such, it is inevitably helpful in its own way.
