The Irrelevant things I spend most of my time on.

Greetings bosses and welcome to my post.

As people, we do what we must do in other to survive, and as such, activities are placed in a ranking order of importance with the least important activity being at the bottom (last) while the most important activity placed at the top (first).

Irrespective of the importance of the activity, at times we do spend more time doing irrelevant and less important things then input less of our precious time into doing the more important things. This is really a problem as it will make an individual not to have a smooth and good progress in what they are doing.

Personally, this habit of putting a less important activity in the topmost part of my activities list, had really affected me in tons of ways.

Some of the things I am not spending enough time on are my schooling as well as blogging as a hivian. These are the activities that really needs my time and attention but due to some part of me is "lazy," I tend to input less of my time into my school and blogging and it has really been something that is greatly affecting me in all ramifications.

I spend more of my trying to learn how to socialize with people, trying to know new things that are not within my field of study (nursing), I try to get more connections with some people of higher caliber and at times, I do watch YouTube videos and Facebook videos instead of trying to accomplish blogging as well as nursing.

A fortnight ago, I evaluated myself and my achievements so far and I saw that I was not doing as well as expected from myself and as such, I set a goal to make at least 5 posts on hive every day and also make 10 comments as well as many upvotes as I can vote (irrespective of the fact that my HP is still at it's toddler stage). I set the plan on action but due to a reason I don't know, I could not keep up with the goal and I defaulted. Instead of achieving the set goal, I will rather watch videos or do something else.

It is really disappointing and quite alarming for me and I really need to spend more time blogging and schooling at the same time because the finance gotten from blogging is what I use to sustain myself nutritionally in school, and nursing is currently the most important thing I need to achieve one earth.

Irrespective of these things, all I hope for now is the ability to be able to achieve my set goals in the time range it was set.

The way I plan to spend more time on blogging and schooling is by deleting the things distracting me and these things are majorly applications that have videos on them. Applications like Facebook, YouTube and the like. After that, I will have to reduce the way I socialize to avoid wrong subconscious influence. By so doing, I will be less distracted and add up more time into read my books as well as blogging.

Thank you for reading through my post, I really appreciate you.

Hope to see you next time.

Much love

I admire that you are self-aware. It's the first step to achieve changes.

Maybe, rather than focusing alone on your distractions and eliminating them, you could dive deeper into "being" the type of person that's a great student. That would entail observing the identities of good students and then imbibing their culture. With time, the results would flow naturally.

Concerning "being a hiver," I think you have great will, and that's really good. However, it's worth noting that there are unwritten rules on Hive. One of them is about spamming.

It's absurd and generally unacceptable to have one individual posting too frequently. In your case, the idea of making "five posts a day" goes in contradiction. We have talked about this before in a different community. I have an idea that you'd like.

How about you keep "writing" your good posts, but then stick to posting at healthy intervals? The golden approach is to have at least 12 hours in-between. Nobody wants to read you 5 times a day. You could channel some of that energy to bump up the "10 comments a day" to fifty genuine and thoughtful comments. You'd be amazed at the difference you'd find after a considerable amount of time.

You're doing well, mate. Kindly consider my words.

To be very honest, I really appreciate your kind words of correction.

I started hive without no guide from anyone and all I know about the platform currently is actually self-taught and it's been sooo draining lately.

I really appreciate your help boss towards correction and will implement it immediately.

Thanks boss
