THE EXCEPTIONAL BOY

Genetically, many traits are passed down to the children via chromosomes. Based on maternal lifestyle, some children may come out complete while some are exceptional children. An exceptional child may have a very good IQ (also called genius) while some exceptional children may have low IQ and have other disabilities which may hinder their physical appearance and mental state.

An individual starts to learn different traits right from the time they are in the mothers uterus. Then, they get to recognize the fathers voice and many other things.

Hypothetically speaking, it is said that if a childs father do not visit him or her when they are born, then that child will grow up to suck their thumbs. This is to say that the child recognizes his or her father even at birth.

Though in terms of IQ, I would not say that I am an exceptional child, however, I have met some children who are exceptional. Both in terms of IQ an in terms of physical disabilities.

What's more amazing is that where I met this exceptional child is in an unfavorable environment where different things happens. Things like smoking of Indian hemp, drinking of alcohol, womanizing and many other illicit things that you can think of. Though I have not heard of any rape from this place. Anyways.

I used to drink alcohol but I stopped after understanding its effects.
As you know, every alcoholic always have a reason to take alcohol, no matter what day it is.

I made an investment and I gave my friend the opportunity to manage it for me while I do other things. Unfortunately, he mismanaged it and everything went south. Instead of him to apologize and try to make things right, he was being cocky and all talkative. I became very angry and wanted to eat him raw but I had to hold myself. Even though the invested money was not much, I was boiling inside and I needed to cool off and think straight.

During that time, I was begining to reduce the way I drink, so I went to a gym to punch a punching bag. It helps a lot to relieve my emotions. Unfortunately, it was already late in the night and they have closed for the day. I searched for a bar around but I found none.

I called one of my friends that knew the streets very well and he directed me to a local bar where I can drink. I invited him to join which he did.

We went there and the place was really lively. People were drinking and having fun.

I ordered a drink and to my surprise, a child brought my drink to me. A child of about 9 to 12 years of age. I was surprised to see him in that kind of place. I went to the owner of the place but the child told me that she is not around. I asked people around and they said that the boy is the person managing the place. I was shocked. This boy? I asked. They said yes. Isn't he supposed to be sleeping for school tomorrow? They refused to answer and told me to continue with my drink.

All the anger in my chest left as I started comparing the boy to the person that mismanaged my stuff. Though the place is not as big, the streets was really dangerous for such a child.

Funny enough, his calculations was very accurate and he served all the customers there without any flaw. He showed maturity as well as professionalism while carrying out his duties. I could not believe my eyes.

I was pained and surprised at the same time.

You know how these street boys will want to cheat a kid, but this boy was able to detect their schemes and avoid it peacefully without making a noise. I was really amazed by his abilities.

After a while, his mom who owns the place, came back and I decided to talk to her about the boy.
She told me his abilities with academics and I was even more surprised. At his age, he was better than a 25 year old who could not manage a small thing I gave him.

I was really amazed by the childs ability.

After that encounter, I learnt not to underestimate anybody. Be it a child or an adult. I will never underestimate any bodys capacity until I see it first hand.
