The cheap and most expensive food I ever ate.
Another evening, another post.
Welcome everyone.
Food is a very vital part of life as it helps to be energized and refueled for the activities of daily living.

We humans can not do without food because it is needed not only for our growth and development, but it is also needed for energy which will be used to carryout diverse activities required for our survival.
Personally, I will say: food is like the fuel for humans.
Some like food, some don't like food but me? I really love food but not a foodie though.
I actually know how to cook, and most times I do it myself. Yesterday, I was making banana pancakes and I realized I don't have a pan.
Guess what I did?
Well, I improvised. I used the cover of a small pot in place of a frying pan and it gave me the same result. The video is below 👇

Video belongs to me.
Personally, I don't like eating outside and prefer eating foods I cook my self. I don't know why though, but I think it's just natural to me. I prefer going on YouTube to learn how to cook any dish I don't know but most times, I do experiment in the kitchen.
Trust me, you don't want to see the results of some of these experiments.. hehe
I have eaten a variety of foods, ranging from cheap to costly.
I think the price of food is actually dependent on the location. For example, a plate of yam can be sold at a thousand naira in imo state and can still be sold at a price of 300 naira in Kogi state.
THE CHEAPEST FOOD I EVER ATE
The cheapest food I ever ate (Which I remember though) is garri also called cassava parfait or groceries as nicknamed.
Garri is not only a cheap food, but is also a very very valuable food as it has helped save many lives out there from starvation. Mine included. I'm
It is not a seasonal food, and it is rich in glucose. Well, I will say that it's nutritional content is dependent on the things used for it's preparation.
the video of the garri above belongs to me
For example, the garri from the video above is rich with diverse classes for food and nutrients.
THE MOST EXPENSIVE FOOD I ATE
Well, the most expensive food I at is something that was made at home.
The reason why it is the most expensive is because of the things used to cook it.
It was actually a fish and goat meat soup. It was meat throughout and was eaten like that without any side dish. Preparing this dish cost over N25,000 (I have forgotten the actual price but its at a range of 25 - 35 thousand naira).
Nutritionally, it contained all of the classes of food as it was really spiced up and cooked exclusively in a very good manner. I really enjoyed this meal.
HOW OFTEN DO I EAT THESE FOOD
Well, eat cassava parfait not regularly, but at intervals because I get dehydrated any time I eat it. Irrespective of the fact that I love eating it, I cannot eat it regularly as I will be at a risk of getting severe dehydration which will cause me more harm than good.
For the soup, as a student, I can't afford to spend this much on a dish, so I don't eat it often. I only eat it when I get home or when I accomplish a very important task and I feel proud of what I did.
THE SITUATION REQUIRED FOR ME TO EAT GARRI
I do eat garri occasionally because as stated above, it causes dehydration for me..
However, I eat garri when I am stressed out to the core. I use ice blocks so it gives me a chilling sensation necessary for relaxing and sleeping.
THE SITUATION REQUIRED FOR EATING THE SOUP
I eat this kind of food when I am done with a very hard task and feel like celebrating my success.
It's just like a motivation to me, reminding myself that I will get more of this type of food if I do more.
That will be all for this post.
I really appreciate your presence on here, and I hope to see you next time.
Thank you and stay safe.

No doubt food is very important to man, without food one feels really weak.
Correct..
Thanks for stopping by
Interesting!
Garri is actually a life saver.
Sometimes you don't even have the strength to cook anything but when you take Garri, the strength comes.
I didn't know it could cause dehydration. Please, explain more.
Causing dehydration like i I said in the post is subjective. I don't really know the pathophysiology of how it causes dehydration but hypothetically speaking, I think it's because of garri swells and rises. When it does, it takes up most of the liquid content in the stomach which will require me to consume a lot of water else I'll start feeling dehydrated.
Okay
I get it now.
Thanks
You're welcome
Food is very important to us we should try to eat healthy.

Okay
Garri has been saving lives even before we were born. I almost make sure I have enough of it at home as it's a quick and easy meal.
I love the fact that you love home-cooked meals and you love experimenting yourself. It's a good thing to do somethings spontaneously instead of just following our regular pattern.
Thank you for sharing. #dreemerforlife
Home made meals to me is the best and I really enjoy the meals I make....

I actually take garri after a hot afternoon walk or stress, I enjoy it with milk, ice cubes, groundnut or fried fish. I love eating goat meat as well.
