The addiction that affected my productivity.

Success comes with many ups and downs, falls and rise, cry and laugh, lessons and regrets.

Most of the times, the only person stopping us from being successful is nobody but ourselves.

In life, it is not who you do that makes you successful, it is who you must become that makes you successful.

The character you portray, the life you lead in entirety is what will guide you towards being a better and successful person in the future.

One of the many qualities you must have is being able k schedule things and accomplish every ask before a deadline. This is really difficult most of the times when you have friends who are not inclined to what you are inclined to.

Our routines is another factor we need to keep straight in other to be a successful person in life. Routines and schedules are two diverse factors bag affects our productivity either positively or negatively, all depending on how we utilize them.

One way down the drain is having some bad characters like laziness and addiction. These qualities are best if you want to remain stagnant or go down below your current level.

As humans, we all have that one attitude that makes us divert from the right track.

For me, this attitude is addiction.

Not what you're thinking. Haha

Social media addiction.

This bad habit of mine has affected my productivity greatly. Funny enough, I am not chatting anyone in socials. I am the best snub there is on earth. I will read a message and not reply it.

What I'm I doing in socials then?

Most times, I leave everything I am doing just to watch some videos online. Stupid videos that will not add anything to my life, instead remove valuable cash from my pockets.

This attitude of mine always pisses me off when I realize my self ya'know.

Anytime I have a task to accomplish, immediately I see my phone, I will like to watch all the videos there is to watch on Facebook. I have over a thousand contacts on WhatsApp and I make sure to view their status updates. When I am done, I go straight to YouTube. If get tired with YouTube, then Facebook will take the remaining time. In a day, my screen time use to be 8 hours to 14 hours.

This addiction lasted for a very long time making me always feel useless. When I was in school, instead of reading for an exams, I will prefer to watch videos until a week to exams. Then I will start rushing my self, putting more hectic workload on my brain.

One day, I decided to talk to myself about my bad habit. After a while of talking to myself, I decided to let go of he addiction. Though it was not easy, I tried my best to let go.

Currently, my productivity has improved and I am no more as addicted as I used to be. I watch these videos once in a while when I have nothing to do.

My life have been going smoothly ever since I decided to stop watching those videos and I am happy with the results.

And you watch all those statuses?
Ehh😂😂, interesting and then even go to Facebook to continue?

I currently can't believe that i lived like that. Thankfully, all those have been stopped. I had to delete some contacts that are not very important, making me come down to around 900 contacts. Haha

i had to delete some irrelevant contacts making it drop to about 900 currently.. haha

i am happy to have been free from the addiction
