REFLECTING ON TODAYS TEACHING BY BROTHER DANIEL

The lord is my strength and my firm foundation that keeps me safe and provides for me during my times of need.

Though i am a sinner and in sins did my mother conceive me, i am hopeful for the light of God has shun upon and his mercies has extended to m end.

everyday, i seek to improve my knowledge by always listening to the teachings by Brother Eli Soriano and Brother Daniel.

Abiding in Gods word is something we should do as christians. the word of God should be our strength and as such, we should always keep it. the commandments of God should be our guide towards our destination in life. We should humbly abide by the words of God and take Gods word as the fisrt thing we have on earth. if we keep all of the commandments of God, we will be made whole. This is seen in the bible passage below:

John 15:3
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. [4] Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Everybody has what they believe in. some believe in the Quran and other things, but as Gods children, we should embrace the words of God. The is truth in the words of God. We should serve in truth and sincerity. it will be shameful for us to gain everything on earth but loose the soul to the devil. this is seen in the bible passage below:

Mark 8:36
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

God hates it when we take revenge on our own. it is expected of us as christians to take everythig to God in prayers and ask him to do everything for us. instead of revenge, we should seek for peace with our fellow men and make sure to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Galatians 5:15
If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

these are the few lessons i was able to learn from todays session.
