We live in a world where the kind gets taken advantage of, and most times, they turn out to be cruel and heartless. Some people before what the society wants them to be, while some stay true to their origins and keep spreading the kindness they started with.
I am glad that i am who i am. Though the stress of life may come, we fall and we stand firm, always looking towards one direction - our goals.
I was going to meeting today, so i took a tricycle to make the journey easier and faster for me. I know that the cost of transportation is expensive due to the spike in fuel price, i did not expect the driver to behave in such a way.
When i got to my desination, the driver charged me double the normal fare. Seems like he understood that i was in a hurry. I tried beating the price down, but he refused. I could not wait any longer, so, i just collected my change and rushed to the meeting. I still got there late though.
This incident made me understand that people will try to take advantage of every little thing to reap your pocket.
