PROS AND CONS OF SOCIAL MEDIA
The use of social media is beautiful, social media is also, a walking destruction, like a vampire, from these zombie apocalypse movies.
Socials. it's merits and dismerits, are obvious. Both good and bad, depending on your purpose for using it. Highly addictive too.
A sharp blade that can cut down an individual's future, and also, a great tool that can build a business, skyrocketing it to space in a short period of time.
me and social media
Frustrated, headache, sadness and a little bit of happness, are the emotions I feel, anytime i spend plenty time on social media.
It's quite disappointing to realize that i spent 30 minutes, scrolling through endless and unhelpful feeds, when i know i can use this same app, for a better and educative purpose. Tch.... it sucks ya'know
Mainly, social media has served the purpose of entertainment in my life. I have grown to be very addicted to it. sometimes, i leave what i am supposed to do, so that i can go to facebook and scroll through some reels.
Even when i a doing a serious thing, i always have the urge to go on twitter and scroll through memes and funny comments.
Tch...... such a total waste of time
With deminishing productivity, i began to find ways to stop this addiction, which i found, and turned things around.
Irrespective of the bad side of social media, it has actually helped me alot.
I remember when i was in school, i learnt most Anotomy topics from socal media.
I still remember many details about my anatomy and physiology, all thanks to youtube. There are many courses i learnt, and currently learning from youtube.
Lately, i find my self wanting to know more about programming, so i went straight to youtube. All thanks to youtube i know some basics.
I dont intend to stop there though, i hope to know more.
social media and the society
Speak of the society. I think, social media has a bad effect on the society around me. People now do nothing, but look for ways to improve their followers. They spend more time on their phones, watching things that are not helpful to them and their career.
Few weeks ago, I was crossing the mainroad, and i saw a boy, probably not up to 20, he was in the middle of the road, dancing, while his friend was making a video of him. Shamelessly, he was shaking his body, with no music playing, while other cars are passing.
A boy that is supposed to be in class, or in the farm, helping his parents. Welp, i guess it is what it is.
Socials really have a negative impact in my society. Hopefully, people will realize this, and control how they come online.

It is left for us to learn how to control the way we use socials so it doesn't get too addicted for us especially in the bad way. A lot of people are using social media for the wrong purpose but those who understand its benefits would utilise it well.
