INSIDE THE HEAT

When I first saw this topic, the ting that came to my mind as: it was a Nigerian that suggested this topic." Hehe.

Even the Bible says that there is time for everything, and ever since, here is time for rain, heat, and cold but this year seems different for reasons not yet known.

In my country, Nigeria, we have two seasons, the rainy and dry season. The dry season is accompanied by harmattan which brings about dry cold. Currently, I don't know if we have a chance in our weather or something but there is a great deviation from normal.

THE WEATHER CONDITION IN MY AREA

The moment I said that I am a Nigerian, I know that most Nigerians already know the weather condition in my area. It reached every part of the country.

The weather condition in my currently is extreme heat. I think we need snow at this juncture because its too much.

You could be bathing and still sweating at the same time. That's how extreme it is.
Today, a Google weather forecast popped up in my phone this morning and the temperature as at 11am (not sure about the actual time but i know it was morning) was 39⁰C.

In the morning. It was really hot that I had to bath regularly and still sweat at the process. Currently, the message says that the temperature is at 33⁰C.

HOW THE WEATHER IS SUPPOSED TO BE

Currently, we should be preparing to enter the rainy season and as such, the heat should not be as much as this. Our normal body temperature is at a range of 36.6-37.5⁰C and the weather for today is remarkably greater than our body temperature.

The heat is not supposed to be as much as this, if there is any heat at all.

This year, the weather is worst. I pity people that have body odour 😩

THE REASON FOR THE HEAT?

I honestly do not know why the heat is as much as it is. I saw a tictok video some days ago, joking that the gates of hell has been open for Nigeria and the devil should please close it. lol

The cause is unknown but all we pray for currently is rain fall. Honestly, though I hate the rainy season, I am currently praying that rain falls and vindicate us from this heat before we melt.

I saw a WhatsApp status from my cameroonian friend saying that rain rain was falling over there.

I would not lie, I felt a sense of jealousy. Why not in Nigeria? Did we commit a crime or something? I feel like it's probably because we bad mouthed Ghana during the AFCON 😹😹 and we still did not win it. Tsk, such a drag 😩

WHAT I THINK CAN BE DONE TO RECTIFY THE HEAT?

AC. give us AC 😹😹😹 OR make snow fall 😹😹

I don't think the weather can be manipulated to reduce he heat or something but I think something can be done and this is what I mentioned above.

What's more disheartening is that even though you have an air conditioner, there is no light to make it function and the price of fuel is a whole story on its own.

My country, my country. Hehe.

If there is adequate electricity and air conditioner, things will be much better.
