GOALS FOR 2023: ALMOST THERE
The year 2023 started happily with cheers for a new year everywhere.
Chickens was slaughtered, and goats was killed just to celebrate the new year.
New year resolutions was made and goals was set with plans on achieving the goals.
In a blink of an eye, the celebration ended and the activities of daily living continued and now, 2023 is at the verge of ending.
The year is dramatically coming to an end with each day moving fast as if "the flash" is fast forwarding the days.
Four more months to go and I have not Ccomplished my goals for the year. So appalling.

I have a lot of things to accomplish, I set many goals for this year which I have accomplished some, while the main ones have not yet been accomplished.
I initially set a goal of being well known in hive and do plenty of engagement and I was doing well with it up till now. I've upgraded to a good extent when it comes to my writing skills and I have also made a lot of friends.
THE GOAL I HAVE NOT ACCOMPLISHED
I had many things to accomplish this year, including building, and perfecting myself in hive but the one goal that is very difficult for me to achieve is making a million naira independently and opening a boutique for my self independently. I have always wanted to make money independently of anyones help, and I want to be able to get diverse investments for myself. I have a dream of making at least 300k Naira legally from home without working and I have made different plans to achieve this dream and all of the plans are active but slowly progressing.
IS THE REMAINING FOUR MONTHS ENOUGH TO START A BOUTIQUE AND SAVE UP A MILLION NAIRA?
Well, given that I am a student who constantly uses the money I have for school activities, I don't think I will be Able to save up such amount of money in this short time.
What I am sure of achieving in his four months is a boutique store. Ion like sharing things like this because it's too personal but for the contest sake, I will share it.
I don't like renting shops, I prefer building mine or buying a shop instead of renting it, this is because I will be able to use it for anything I want.
However, I planned to build a shop gradually for this four month period, then I will do the necessary things needed to be done in the shop in other to design it to my taste. After that, I will go to the market, get some clothes and improve it's quality them sale at a higher price.
I made an estimation of roughly 500k Naira to accomplish all these before the end of this year, and I just hope that God helps me though this journey because I have plenty factors inhibiting my plans. Factors like my school and exams I have to write in the nearest future.
I feel tensed, mentally stressed and at the same time scared.
I'm scared because of the possibility of my business rising, I'm tensed because of I am combining school, business and blogging at once and I am veryuch mentally stressed because of I am an over thinker who thinks of every single thing. Most of the times, I have to take sugar to aid my mental activity and reduce mental exhaustion.
I have lots of business ideas in my mind, I I just hope that this boutique which is the first one, works out because it will serve as a foundation for other businesses. By next year ending, I want to be in a position where I will boast of a million naira that I am not using for anything. That's what I want to accomplish and these little businesses I want to do is just a stepping stone towards my greatness.
WHAT IF YOU DON'T ACCOMPLISH IT
If I don't accomplish my goals, I will be disappointed ik my self without a doubt and I will have to punish my self. Yes, I do punish myself.
After the punishment, I will shift the goal to next year and make sure I accomplish it before the second half of the year.
That will be all for now, I hope to see you next time.
I wish you all the best in trying to build your own business.
I'm not sure I'd want you to punish yourself though. Business are tried and many fail. The important thing it to learn from whatever mistakes you make, stand up, dust yourself off and try again.
As for 1 Million Naira from work at home. Good goal. I have a soft goal of about 2.5m Naira but no set time frame for it. Just keep on posting and doing my best online and see where it leads.
Good luck
I don't have anyone to correct or punish me when I go wrong that's why I do that but I think I'll have to reduce the degree of punishment.
It will be better and realistic if you set a time frame for the 2.5 you want to make so that you'll achieve it with great joy and develop self confidence afterwards.

When goals are set not achieving your goals at a certain time frame can temper with your feelings, you will be demotivated. But it doesn't end there you can still achieve if you set your mind to it.
The idea of always punishing yourself, I don't feel like it's the best idea rather self-love, appreciating yourself for attempting to succeed is a great idea.
The feeling of not achieving a set goal at a given time is very much demotivating. Most times, It makes me feel incapable of anything and useless to be honest.
