CHASING A POLITICAL CAREER
As most people say.
Well, politics is not supposed to be like this, it is supposed to be a very interesting and sweet thing to venture into given that you have the qualities and qualifications.
Welcome to a world where politics has been turned into a nightmare even though we're awake and not sleeping. Tsk, that feeling when you see your nightmare in real lif can't do anything

A politician once told me that every single thing we do in life is politics. Ranging from buying and selling to even living in the house with your husband. I found it hard to believe, not until I tasted what politics truly is, and got experience, though from school politics.
ENGAGING IN POLITICS
I used to practice political apathy for reasons I don't want to disclose here, but ever since I entered school, my curiosity for experience led me into doing what i hated the most..... Joining politics.
It all started when I got to school, I was made the course representative and gradually, I became the right hand man of the principal of my school.
A year into my schooling, it was announced that the Students Union Government was to be set and it made everyone happy. Not for me though.
Everyone encouraged me to be the president because I was well known and majority liked my vibes in school.
I contemplated for a while and agreed to go for the president but was tricked to step down. Things happened and I had to go for the Senate president which was later dissolved. The story is very long, and trust me, it will be more than a 30minute read. So, we should just leave it at this for now.
WOULD I PURSUE THE POLITICAL CAREER?
It depends.
I don't want to risk my life for any thing. Just the school politics I tried out, I know how depressed, exhausted and manipulative I had to be but sentiment made me lose.
However, in a country like mine, Nigeria, if the threats are removed, I will love to pursue a career in politics in other to make it a better place.
This is because of the high rate of negativities in my country.
In Nigeria, a hundred naira bribe can give you a smooth pathway to plant a bomb and cause mass destruction. This is how corrupt the system is here.
We have crude oil, but our fuel price is skyrocketing like Bitcoin when ETF was approved.
We are called the giants of Africa, but I think that name needs to be changed to he dwarfs of Africa due to the shortage of everything to the citizens and mismanagement is at its peak.
Though we have many things that are done right in this country try, the negativities are as numerous as the sand.
Being a politician, I will love change the mentality of my people by becoming a better leader. Not entire free from mistakes but at least, make a huge difference.
THE ILLS I WILL LOVE TO CHANGE
I will want to change everything in the political system of my country.
Every single thing
My country is blessed with good things, but has people who don't know how to actually manage these things.
I will first tackle the prices of things in my country. I will make sure that the prices goes down, and if possible, back to how I was during the time of Goodluck Jonathan.
We lack well trained moral security. our security sell their dignity for money. I will change this with immediate effect. Investigate corrupt cops thoroughly and punish appropriately. The security of the country will also be improved greatly with kind hearted cops who will only enforce brutality when NEEDED
Also, I will try as much as possible to improve the value of Naira against the Dollar. Not an easy feat, but I will try more than my best.
There are many things I will want to do, and these talking about these things will take lots of time.
Based on this, I think I should stop my post here.
Thank you for reading 😊

The life of a politician is like that of a chameleon, never predictable
Honestly
The political line is very difficult because I know politics very well. You have to maintain relations everywhere and you have to be prepared for every challenge because in politics no one is anyone's friend or relative when it comes to the chair. If you have nothing in the beginning and you will have nothing in the end if you are honest and you will have a lot when you leave this chair if you are not honest. But I believe that one should try politics for the welfare of the public.
Maintaining the relationships everywhere is the most difficult part of being i politician. You have to go extra extents to make sure that people like you and want you.
Tsk, such a drag
A thought-provoking look into the harsh realities and immense complexities of politics, both in school and on the national stage. I admire your desire to make positive changes despite the challenges. Wishing you the best in pursuing ethical leadership roles where you can leverage your experience.
Tough times builds tough people. I hope to use the experience to be a better leader. Tganks for stopping by
