CELEBRATING WEEK 100 WITH GOOD MEMORIES

The hivelearners community has achieved another milestone of the 100th week of sharing prompts.

The community has proven to be one of the best in hive and it's managers have been actively maintaining the affairs of the community.

Though rough times were faced, the prompt continued nevertheless. That's quite an admirable consistency.

I did not join from the begining of the prompt, I really enjoyed every topics that was given to authors to write on.

Img src,

It has been an honor to write entries for the prompts.

There are many entries I have written over the months, some topics were difficult to start, some were easy, some were tiring, while some made me connect emotionally with the post but one thing I always do is to keep writing no matter what.

THE POST THAT GOT ME CONNECTED IN AN EMOTIONAL LEVEL

Few days ago, I shared a post about the creepiest journey I have even been on.

Well, that's not the most creepiest again because on Saturday, I was at the verge of getting kidnapped when coming back from Abakiliki, but thank God for journey Mercy.

Anyways, when I was making that post, every single memory of how I felt came to my head. When we got to a stop and everyone was buying something to eat, I felt like the poorest person alive because I could not buy anything and I had to save the very little I had. I had mixed emotions, anger, fear, disgust from the smell, as well as hunger but at the same time, patience.

When I was writing that post, it was as if all of the emotions came back, so I had to leave the post, go for a walk then come back to continue. I learnt quite a lot of lessons and this journey is somewhat the fuel I have to do charity. Things happened that day.

THE MOST DIFFICULT POST

I am a person who puts respect before himself. I don't know why, but I love to respect not only my parents, but anyone who is older than me, even if it's with a day.

The one post that was difficult for me to make is that with we were asked to talk about the rights and wrongs of our parents.

Though it's an easy thing to do, I find it very disrespectful to talk about the wrongs of an elder. I don't know why, but it feels like I am not giving them their respect. Maybe it is due to the belief that was impacted in me from childhood. I had to summon courage before Writting that post.

Even up till now, I feel somehow when I go through my blog and see that post.

THE MOST EASIEST POST

There was a time I always talk about Writting an exams. An opportunity presented itself and I made a post about the Decisive Exams.

This post was actually easy to make because I did not have much events planned for this year. All my goals was to write my Exams and make proper planning afterwards because "A student nurse can not plan themselves, instead the school make the plans for them."

It was really fun to write and I enjoyed Writting that post.

Thank you for reading ☺️

Ah, that emotional level. I can totally understand you bro. We all have stages in life which are unbearable but we have to deal with them.

Still you kept your journey on hive, it is really appreciable

The emotional level was high but well, not matter what, well as men, we are born to survive harsh realities of life no matter how weak or strong we are.

Not having money to buy food and other treats can be very frustrating. I know that feeling coz I have been there before. One of the things that actually makes travelling fun for me is buying food and snacks at different stops and in heavy traffic

Honestly, that was one of the worst days ever. Seeing everyone buy things but I can not afford to spend the little I have. Lol. It's funny now but well, I'm happy that I passed that stage.

Happy 100 weeks of engaging prompts from the community. I think I can relate with you about the prompt that requested about the right and wrongs of our parents. I faced some challenges in deciding on how to present it and not sound disrespectful. Hivelearners featured posts are so engaging and filled with experiences from many people that one could learn from. I look up to another 100 weeks of greatness. Cheers.

Though my parents may or may not be wrong, I always see them as right because of the experience they have gathered through out the years. Those people are really something else when it comes to wisdom.

Thank you for reading.

It is amazing how time flies, from week 1 to week 100. The thing about memories is that it is never 100% forgotten though it might be a little bit blurry but the moment a person encounters anything that could trigger it, the whole thing will just pop up.

I also felt a little bit weird about the right and wrong of parents topic but I wrote my post from the angle that was comfortable with my personal values.

Memories can never be forgotten. Even a person with amnesia recalls a bit of their memories as time goes on.

I'm happy to be a part of the community.

Well, that makes us two, and now I know I am not the only one who felt reluctant to post about the wrongs of my parents

Guy, you are such an amazing buddy, so you later embarked on that creepy journey right?

That was risky bro, I told you.

Thanks to God that you escaped being kidnapped.
